La Jura
Hoy se cumplen cuatro años de uno de los días más importantes de mi vida: mi jura. Desconozco si todos vosotros habéis pasado por ese momento o, si incluso, conocéis en qué consiste.
Para los que lo desconozcáis, la jura es un acto en el que los nuevos letrados van a un centro de escenario acompañados de su padrino/madrina de profesión vistiendo la toga para jurar o prometer la constitución y las leyes.
Para algunos les puede parecer un acto arcaico pero para mí fue el momento en el que grité al mundo ser fiel a mi profesión.
Yo no decidí ejercer la abogacía por seguir la saga familiar, de hecho soy la primera licenciada en mi familia. Ni tampoco decidí estudiar esta carrera por descarte como se produce en innumerables ocasiones.
En mi caso, desde que tengo uso razón, mientras que otras niñas querían ser modelos o cantantes yo siempre quise ser abogada. Lógicamente, desconocía en ese momento lo que conllevaba esta profesión pero siempre que veía a un abogado en series o películas me quedaba maravillada observando su intervención.
Una vez que obtuve el título monté mi propio despacho con dinero prestado de mi hermana, en una ciudad en la que no había crecido y sin contar con un solo cliente. Echando la vista atrás parece una locura pero puedo decir orgullosa que, hasta el día de hoy y espero que este sueño no se acabe nunca, no he dejado de trabajar ni un solo día ejerciendo esta maravillosa profesión que me hace sentir tan viva cada día con cada logro y con cada fracaso.
Por todo ello, el día de mi jura fue unos de los días más importantes de mi vida porque, a pesar de que llevaba casi un año trabajando, ese día viví como los sueños de una niña se convertían en los de una adulta, que con esfuerzo y perseverancia se cumple todo lo que te propongas y, sobre todo, estuve rodeada de mis seres queridos que siempre me han apoyado en ese camino que no ha sido nada fácil.
Orgullosa de mi profesión, orgullosa de mi familia.
